  2. Precious sister , I just read today’s devotional and read about your health problem . I , too , was coming down with MS a few years ago. I was about 45 years old when it grew progressively worse. Sometimes I cdn’t walk, sometimes I couldn’t speak normally, sometimes I couldn’t use one hand or arm , etc. It started with what felt like electricity tingiling thru my arms and hands, and I was in strange aching pain if I held my cell phone or even a tv remote for any length of time.
I was desperate for help , and God answered my screams for help by verifying through various sources that I was experincing this as result of heavy metal in my body . Specifically for me — copper. I found that zinc and lotsa good vitamin C could help flush this outta my system , and so began that regimen. I also avoided foods that were full of copper(black-eyed peas were a favorite…I’m a Southern gal).
I offer this to you , because I found that doctors did not kow how to help me , they never even tested me for heavy metals. I saw a naturopath , and he helped somewhat, but it was Jesus who lead me to the real source of the problem.
Since cleansing the heavy metals from my system , I have had absolutely NO other symptoms of MS. The cleansing I did took several months, but a physician can assist you in chelation to speed things up !
Please, sweet and lovely mommy , pray about this , and GET SOME HEAVY METALS TESTING DONE TO BE SURE. You probably must choose an atypical physician to assist you in this.
I am a mother of 4 awesome sons , and I just wasn’t even THERE for them for too many years . I have never written to any blogs before , but I cannot sit by and NOT tell you this very simple way of healing help for a severe health issue ! Would love to shout it from the mountaintops, but am not really so savvy with computer. You are. I pray that you find relief as simply as I did. I also pray that you shout it from the mountaintops!

    • Thank you, Miss T for taking the time to stop by. πŸ™‚ I am sorry to hear that you had your share of neurological problems but am glad to know that you and God found the source. πŸ™‚ I have lesions in my brain so I am not sure that mine would be due to metals but I will certainly inquire about it. My aunt Shirley had the same issues you had and discovered hers were also due to heavy metals.

Thank you again for joining me here and over at CBN. I always love meeting new friends. Our God is simply amazing. πŸ™‚ God bless you and your family!

    • I had to comment to this because I found it extremely interesting. I was just diagnosed with MS, only to find out yesterday that it is I question. I’ve been getting progressively worse since an accident 3 years. One of the injuries was a traumatic dislocation to the hip and it was broken in several places. After 6 surgeries I had to have a hip replacement. My husband has said all along he thinks I have metal poisoning, but we haven’t been able to get any doctors to consider that nor do they know how to test for it. As I write this, I’m laying in bed where I have been for 4 solid days because I’m too sick to up. I would really like to look into this more. Something is also causing my spine to deteriorate in my neck and lower back. It’s getting pretty scary. But I know God is in control and has a plan, no matter what. Prayers for you and so happy you found a solution. God bless and I’m glad I found your comment while reading through Brooke’s wonderful blog.

      • There are a lot of things that mimic MS and its a diagnosis you have to kind of sit with a while. I’m so glad you were able to connect with some other ladies on WordPress who have been through similar situations.

Explore all avenues and in the meantime, don’t be afraid of the MS injectables. Copaxone is incredibly safe because its made up of amino acids which occur naturally in your body. Vitamin D3 and B12 are also good. B12 can be taken in large doses because it’s not toxic but Vitamin D3 you’ll need to check with your doctor for the right dose for you. Be well, my friend! And know you are NOT alone and regardless of what this is or what its called you’re going to be ok.

    • Thank you for the invitation, Heather! πŸ™‚ How kind. I’m honored. πŸ™‚ I am knee deep in a deadline for a Bible study right now but as soon as I wrap it I will be in touch. I am always excited to write alongside other women who love Jesus as much as I do! πŸ™‚

  5. I know, I know, another award and a lot of hard work. So really, if you don’t want to do it I completely understand. I may quit after this one myself.

But I just want you to know that I do truly enjoy reading your blog posts and they make me smile, warm my heart, and make me really think too! You do a great job and even if this email is all you read, just know that I appreciate all you do on your blog!

Since I’m a quirky, crazy type of person, you may want to just jump over and read my answers…especially my P.S. at the very end! I hope it will brighten your day!

    • Wow! Great job! I really can relate to your sweet tea habit and I think we all feel like Peter sometimes. You aren’t alone! And how very nice! Yes. It did make my day indeed! I am approaching my deadline for a devotional book for 2014. As soon as I wrap I will answer the questions and post to my blog. Thank you for the nomination! πŸ™‚ An honor indeed! I am humbled! πŸ™‚

When Radically Red comes out, I will have to send some copies down for my gal pals at Winterville!

    • I’m so glad to hear it. πŸ™‚ I’m pretty backed up with book work right now but if you ever need a columnist for religion just drop me a line. I try to help small presses when I can at no cost when it comes to Christian pieces.

      God bless!

    • Thank you for your kind words. It is certainly ONLY by God’s grace and I am grateful every day that God can use even a nobody like me. It has been such a blessing to work with so many amazing people who love Jesus. Each have revealed to me a new characteristic of our Savior. Happy Easter to you and yours!

  6. Thank you for the Daily Dares and all the other encouragement on your blog! It is inspiring! You have a beautiful faith. God’s peace to you!
